Changes in the rules and conditions
On 1 June 2010 changes apply in several terms and conditions of Danske Banka in line with the requirements of the Payment services law, adopted to introduce Payment Services Directive (PSD) in Latvia. Directive introduces new regulations on domestic and cross-border transfers in Latvian lats, euro and any other currency of European Economic Area member states (27 EU countries, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein).

Cooperation project initiated
Baltic units of Danske Bank, Swedbank, SEB and Nordea Bank have commenced a cooperation project with the aim of analysing the possibility and expediency of the creation of a common ATM network covering the entire Baltic region.
