Changes in the rules and conditions
Changes in the Terms and Conditions in line with the Payment services law
On 1 June 2010 changes apply in several terms and conditions of Danske Banka in line with the requirements of the Payment services law, adopted to introduce Payment Services Directive in Latvia. Directive introduces new regulations on domestic and cross-border transfers in Latvian lats, euro and any other currency of European Economic Area member states (27 EU countries, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein). New regulations are applicable also on payment cards’ transactions.
The objective is to introduce uniform regulations for payments and to insure faster transfers within the European Economic Area.
