The Sampo Group’s profit before taxes for January - September 2005 was 1.007 million euros. Return on equity (ROE) reached 32.3 % per year that considerably exceeds the set goal – 19% per year).

First Baltic Real Estate Olympiad has come to an end and three winning teams have been chosen.
First Baltic Real Estate Olympiad has come to an end and three winning teams have been chosen. The Olympiad was organized by the Estonian real estate development company Metro Capital Management, participation of Latvian students was supported by Sampo Banka, student papers were evaluated by the international jury.

Announcement of the winners of the first Baltic
During the Baltic real estate Olympiad 6 teams from Latvia and Estonia developed business plans and construction projects for specific objects in Riga and Tallinn. First Baltic real estate Olympiad took place from 7 October till 4 November in several stages in Riga and Tallinn. The Olympiad is organized by Estonian real estate development company Metro Capital Management. Students from Latvia participate in the Olympiad supported by Sampo Banka.
